Vision for Zambia
Orbis/Vision for Zambia is an international charity that transforms lives by preventing and treating avoidable blindness. They have been working to save sight in Zambia since 2011, when they established the country’s first children’s eye care centre in Kitwe.
You can help to save a child’s sight for FREE simply by registering your email address.

Sense are a national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deaf-blind or have sensory impairments.
Their ‘TouchBase’ project is being built in the heart of Selly Oak, Birmingham. The TouchBase centre will serve the nation as a location where Sense can deliver its support services for people who are deaf-blind, and for those with other complex needs. It will also be a special place that the whole community is welcome to visit and use, with community spaces, an art gallery, gardens and a community café. TouchBase will be a thriving, bustling hub in a key development area of our great city.
Local Food banks
“We all fall on hard times in life. Some find it harder than others to get back up. Always offer a hand to lift somebody up…”
This year we are supporting our local food banks by donating unused food from our kitchen cupboards and by adding a few extra items onto our weekly shopping lists. A few of your unused tins of soup, beans, pasta sauces, pasta, biscuits, and toiletries can help provide relief for a family who have fallen on hard times.
